SIL Vacancies — Compassionate Community Care
All Services Compassionate Community Care Service

Current SIL vacancies in Cairns and Far North Queensland.

If you are looking for a Supported Independent Living place for a participant, call us. Vacancies change week to week and the honest answer is always faster by phone than on a page.

Enquiries

Phone or referral form, screened the same day where we can.

Urgent Placements

We have accepted last-minute referrals, subject to assessment.

Locations

Cairns, the southern corridor and Innisfail.

Assessment

Compatibility and risk assessment before every placement.

Service overview

Why we do not publish a live vacancy list.

A published vacancy list is out of date the moment someone moves in, and it encourages the wrong question. The useful question is not "is there a bed" but "is this the right house, with the right housemates and the right staff, for this person".

So instead of a list, we offer a fast answer. Tell us about the participant and we will tell you what we have, what we could have shortly, and whether we think it would actually suit them.

Who This Service Is For

Support Coordinators, families, guardians, hospital discharge teams and participants looking for a SIL placement in Far North Queensland.
