Focus

Service overview

Isolation is the problem these programs solve.

A lot of participants have enough support and almost no social contact. Individual supports handle the tasks; they do not necessarily produce a week with other people in it. Group programs do, which is why we run a proper calendar rather than ad hoc outings.

The activities themselves — art and craft, barbecues, karaoke, capacity building sessions, community events — matter less than the fact that they happen on a known day, with the same group, week after week.

Who This Service Is For

Participants who want regular social contact and structure, and families looking for something in the week that is genuinely the participant’s own.
