A home first, and a service second.
Supported Independent Living pays for the help a participant needs with day-to-day tasks in the place they live. What it does not do on its own is make a house work. That comes down to whether the people in it fit together, whether the property suits their needs, and whether the roster holds.
We assess all three before a placement, including when a referral is urgent. Our ability to respond quickly does not mean we skip compatibility or risk assessment; it means we start that work the day the referral lands rather than a fortnight later.
Who This Service Is For
Adults with disability who need support available in their home on an ongoing basis, including participants with psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury or complex behaviours.
