Affordable Living Options — Compassionate Community Care
All Services Compassionate Community Care Service

Affordable living options in Cairns.

Where an accommodation arrangement allows it, we can offer rent at approximately $250 per week. This is a tenancy arrangement and it is completely separate from any NDIS-funded support.

Your Choice

You are free to use any support provider you want.

Service overview

Accommodation and supports are two separate things.

Housing affordability is a real problem for a lot of participants, and where we can help with it we want to. Where an accommodation arrangement is available, rent is typically around $250 per week under the relevant tenancy or accommodation agreement.

We want to be completely clear about what this is not. It is not conditional on buying NDIS supports from us. A participant can live in one of our properties and purchase all of their supports from another provider. Choice and control over supports sits with the participant, always, and nothing about an accommodation arrangement changes that.
