Behaviour Support — Compassionate Community Care
All Services Compassionate Community Care Service

Behaviour support implementation.

Implementing behaviour support plans consistently across an entire roster, which is the part that usually determines whether a plan works.

Role

Implementation of behaviour support plans by trained teams.

Consistency

The same strategies applied across every shift and every worker.

Oversight

Clinical support and supervision within our own team.

Reporting

Data and reporting back to the behaviour support practitioner.

Service overview

A behaviour support plan is only as good as its worst shift.

Behaviour support practitioners write good plans. Those plans then get implemented by whoever happens to be rostered on, with varying levels of training, attention and buy-in. One inconsistent worker can undo a month of progress.

Our job is the implementation side: making sure every worker on the roster knows the strategies, applies them the same way, records what happened, and feeds that data back so the practitioner can adjust the plan on real evidence.

Who This Service Is For

Participants with a behaviour support plan, behaviour support practitioners looking for a provider who will implement properly, and referrers placing participants with complex behaviours.
